First off, I come bearing linkatry! For those of you who wish to learn more about getting started with the Interval Training I've been discussing for the last few days, you can read MizFit's very helpful article here. (edit: is this link working ok for everyone? it's a pdf so you will need Adobe to read it)
Next off, I wish to lodge a formal complaint about my brain's behaviour yesterday.
I appreciate that my first day back in the office was always going to a little beige in comparison to the big blue skies of Italy. But, Brain, it really shouldn't have been so difficult for you. You got to go to a viewing at work and see what a tremendously good job you did on your last project. You were not over-taxed. You were well-rested.
So why did I lose my mobile phone, drop my keys, leave the hand-brake off my car and have to chase it down the street? Why did I feel irrational envy of the skinny exercise-compulsive girl at Spin and reduce the size of my evening meal as a possible consequence? Where did my Well Adjusted go? Did you see it? What did you do with it, Brain?
Hang on, Brain?
Are you there?
Damnit.
I've lost my Brain.

I haven't seen your brain anywhere. Maybe it has run away with my running mojo!
your brain is with mine.
off somewhere on a greek island.
(LINK STILL WONT WORK FOR ME--you?)
M.
Andrew - I always knew your running mojo was a bad influence! Can we get your cycling mojo to fetch them back?
Miz - Whaaa, it definitely works for me, strange. Maybe the gremlins are just in your computer? Or maybe my computer is magic? Let me do some checks to see if other folk can get to it...

ALL of our brains are on a Greek Island! Hope they're enjoying themselves, and that when they do finally come back, at least I'll be able to understand Greek....(vis a vis that old saying "it's all Greek to me" - now it won't be...) Or maybe I'll get lucky and get one of your brains instead...hehehehehe
see how I babble when my brain is not around to stop me?
Oh, and the link is working for me!
if it makes you feel better, I drop and lose things and forget things about one bazillion times a day. And I'm not just getting back from a foreign country.
Bag Lady - I HAVE to tell you this weird fact now - Boy and I were watching a Spanish film with subtitles last week and DID YOU KNOW that the phrase "it's all Greek to me" is the same in Spanish too? The subtitles translated it badly "you might as well be speaking Greek!" but the literal translation was the same. What is it with the rest of the world that we are so baffled by the Greek language? Maybe it's their funny alphabet... (and you thought YOU were babbling)...
Leslie - Relieved it's not just me! Maybe our minds are on higher things???
Know what my mom used to say?
"You can't lose what you never had."
Yeah. She's funny like that. LOL
link works for me (saw other comments and wanted to add)!
Oh no! You had a runaway car? Hate it when that happens.
My brain has been MIA for a while. *Sigh*
We all lose our brain...but we eventually find it! It is all good! :)
Hopefully your brain is on its way to conquer my brain and give me your insight, and adjustedness.
Marste - Ach, your mother is right!
T - thanks! I think it's Mizfit's computer being naughty, everybody else finds it okay
Missicat - Always with the car trouble!
Mark - I only have your word for that...
Twinsky - if only the brain could give ME the insight and adjustedness it spouts on here sometimes... *sigh*

I miss my brain now...tell me if you see it when you find yours!
